Professor Gustavo Galvão is the brother of 15x World Champion and legend of our sport, Prof. Andre Galvão. Gustavo was born in São Sebastião, São Paulo, Brazil. His first professor was Luiz Carlos Dagmar “Careca”, with whom he trained for some years. He is also a Judo practitioner and started training at Sensei Claudio Calasans' father's academy when he was just 9 years old. He got his black belt under Professor Andre Galvão and Prof. Fernando Terere. At this time, he is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the HEAD Professor of our school programs. He is also the Coach of athletes that decide to compete professionally. At present time, he has formed 2 World champions, and 4 European champions. He has been a part of the significant growth of Jiu Jitsu in Barcelona, since 2010. His main objective is to be able to help people through Jiu Jitsu and help with the evolution of the sport in Spain.
